More Perspective on Rebuilding Notre Dame

“You may have seen people complaining about the money raised for Notre Dame saying it could go to such more worthy causes. Reminds me of John 12…

Mary took a liter of costly perfumed oil made from genuine aromatic nard and anointed the feet of Jesus and dried them with her hair; the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.

Then Judas the Iscariot, one of his disciples, and the one who would betray him, said, “Why was this oil not sold for three hundred days wages and given to the poor?”…
“Leave her alone,” Jesus replied. “It was intended that she should save this perfume for the day of my burial. You will always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me.”

God speaks to each of our hearts in their own unique way. These men felt called by God to contribute- do not criticize them. If you feel called to give to different causes/charities, please do. But please don’t tell others what causes/charities they must support.” ~Amanda Ruiz
